Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Grand Rapids Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. As a truly volunteer-driven organization, we are always in need of people who can give their time and talents to help us advance the fight against breast cancer right here in West Michigan.

Whether serving on a committee, helping with a fundraiser, or offering assistance in our office…there are many ways to get involved with varying time commitments to match your availability. Some of our ongoing volunteer needs include:

• Service on the planning committee for our signature event, the Komen Grand Rapids Race for the Cure®
• Helping with registration events for the Komen Grand Rapids Race for the Cure ®
• Volunteering only on Race day
• Service on other Affiliate committees including Grants, Education, Public Relations, Volunteer Development and Special Events
• Assisting at fundraising events that develop throughout the year
• Being available to lend a hand in our office as needs arise
