Promise Me: How a Sister’s Love Launched the Global Movement to End Breast Cancer tells the story of two sisters, Nancy G. Brinker and Susan G. Komen, their loving bond from childhood through adulthood, the cancer that took one sister’s life and threatened the other’s, and the Promise between them that launched the global breast cancer movement, transforming and saving the lives of millions of women.
The inspirational book will be released nationwide on Sept. 14, 2010. Supporters who pre-order a copy of Promise Me from any online retailer are invited to forward their order confirmation e-mail to PromiseMe@RandomHouse.com along with the name, address, and email address of the person receiving for a free, signed copy.

SAVE LIDS TO SAVE LIVES ® | THROUGH DECEMBER 31
This September and October, Yoplait is celebrating its 11th year hosting the highly successful Save Lids to Save Lives® program. In addition to a guaranteed donation of $500,000, for each pink lid mailed in, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grand Rapids Affiliate.
Save or collect specially marked Yoplait lids, write your zip code on them and mail them in by December 31, 2010. Your participation helps the Affiliate tremendously. Thanks to your generous assistance we raised over $8,000 in 2009!
