RIDE FOR THE CURE - Saturday, May 10th

Join us for the 10th Annual Motorcycle Ride through Western Michigan to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.  The ride will begin at Shots located at 4259 Lake Michigan Drive NW.  Register from 11:30 am to 1:00pm at which time the ride will start.  The ride will conclude at Eastern Street Hall  located at 506 Eastern Ave NE at approximately 4:00pm with a party featuring live entertainment with Lefty Malone and Unknown Legend, cash bar, raffles and prizes.  Cost is $20.00 for the dinner and ride.  Contact Kim Franks at 616.893.4157 or Viky Krask at 616.634.5678.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY at THE WEST MICHIGAN WHITECAPS - Sunday, May 11th at 2:00pm

Spend Mother's Day with the West Michigan Whitecaps!  The first 1500 guests will receive a Pink T-shirt compliments of Sprint.  The Whitecaps will be wearing their special pink jerseys that will be signed by the players and then auctioned off at the game!  Don't miss this greeat opportunity to support breast cancer awareness by purchasing tickets and bringing the whole family!  For tickets click here.

UCCELLO'S MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH - Sunday, May 11th

Uccello's Ristorante has partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure for a special mother's day brunch fundraisier.  Visit any of the three locations in Grand Rapids, Standale, and Caledonia from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, May 11th.  The cost for the buffet is $17.95 for adults and $7.95 for children 10 and under.  A portion of each buffet's sales will be donated to Komen Grand Rapids.  For more information visit http://www.uccellos.com/mothersday.php.

Passionately Pink for the Cure™!

Passionately Pink for the Cure™ is a year-round fundraising and education program kicking off May 1, 2008 and will run through October 2008 in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  You chose the date... You choose the outfit...  You make a difference.

Help us celebrate the power of one and the dynamic force of many.

• Anyone can participate!  Recruit your company, co-workers, religious or social group, school, book or garden club, or friends and family to join in a Passionately Pink for the Cure™ day.
• Pick your day or days, May 1 to October 31, to make a $5.00 or more personal donation to Komen for the Cure and wear pink!
• Encourage others to make a difference!  In appreciation, any registered group of five or more will receive a kit that includes posters to promote your day, participant booklets, breast health information, and Passionately Pink for the Cure™ pins for your participant to wear to show their support for the cause of breast cancer!
